Have you ever had one of those weeks?

I know you have.  We all have them.  I had one of those weeks this last week.  Feelings of insecurity.  Lack of mindset.  No focus what so ever.  Dwelling on the negative and talking myself into a very bad place.  Maybe I'm not suppose to be doing what I'm currently doing in life?  What SHOULD I be doing?  Letting so many other things get in the way of what I really want and should be doing?  Oh…the list just goes on and on!  And then one morning you wake up…the sun is shining…there's a spring in your step again….and your mind is once again crystal clear and your back on track.  I AM going to do this and I am going to do it well!!!!  Thank goodness THAT week is over.

Reluctant Prospector?

Reluctant Prospector?!?  I read this headline somewhere in a Real Estate blog and it lured me in like a trout to a worm!  This was me!  I find myself in an industry that is marketing/sales driven.  I'm very anxious about that.  You see....if you know me....I'd like to think that I can be fun, engaging, a conversation starter and a funny story teller.  But, when surrounded by people I don't know (not mets?) I am a wallflower.  Quiet, reserved & content to just listen to everyone else.  After reading the blog over and over...I'm quite thrilled to say that I agree with the author.  You can be an introvert AND still have a successful business.  The core reason...KNOW YOUR BUSINESS inside & out!  Be confident about your business!  That is something I will work hard at everyday.......

Hoot! Hoot!

I absolutely love where I live!  I woke up to two owls hooting.  They were on the roof of our neighbors house across the street.  The house backs up to open space and is situated on a very high lot....very much like our own home.  The two owls were sitting right next to each other on the south end of the roof top.  I'm almost positive they were horned owls.  Its a beautiful quiet morning with a little snow still covering the ground...clearly not enough snow to keep little critters from becoming breakfast for 2 owls?  This is just one example of why I will work very hard to bring new neighbors into the area where I live....it is a special place indeed!
